My passion for serving students and training professionals in career development is the focal point of my work. I contribute to staff development by leading training initiatives that enhance advising practices and support student success across campus. In collaboration with fellow staff, I help determine what career development practices may apply to an academic department or campus group, as well as learning along the way. I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and then focused on earning my master’s in counseling and career development from Colorado State University. Additionally, I help students determine interests, strengths and goals related to their individual field, including supporting with assessing class interests, determining meaningful extracurricular activities and assisting with the application process for various graduate programs.
