I'm pleased to announce that Marco Pomponio has just passed his PhD defense.

Marco was always a non-traditional student: his graduate studies were fully funded by the , to the point that he and I don't have any papers together... Over the course of his PhD, Marco developed a novel solution for high-accuracy time and frequency measurements. His idea has been patented and will be the core of his upcoming startup company: Temporis.
