Since January, we’ve been working to integrate Infrastructure and Resilience (I&R) with Finance and Business Strategy (FBS). This integration is designed to strengthen collaboration, streamline operations, and align our goals more effectively. Thanks to your dedication and collaboration, we are making good progress.

Now, it’s time to take the next step—giving our new division a name that reflects our shared identity and purpose.

We are officially launching a division naming contest to select a name that embodies our “One Team” spirit and the values we bring to CU Boulder. This is your opportunity to help shape how we present ourselves to the campus and beyond. 

Here’s what you need to know:

• Contest launch: Today
• Submission deadline: August 25
• How to submit: 
• Selection process: Votes and submissions will be reviewed by the new division leadership team and a final name announced later this fall.

Please note: This naming contest is for the new division that oversees both FBS and I&R. The name Infrastructure and Resilience is not changing—your unit identity remains intact. This effort is about creating a unified name for the division as a whole, not renaming individual units.
