The mobile food pantry is free and open to CU Boulder students, faculty and staff, as well as the community members of Boulder and Broomfield counties. Attendees will receive up to 30 pounds of food in multiple boxes. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Extreme Ownership is back and it’s better than ever.

Are you ready to level up your leadership and take full ownership of your growth - both personally and professionally?

The Fall 2025 Extreme Ownership Leadership Series is now open for registration. This 12-week experience is designed to challenge your thinking, sharpen your mindset, and give you the tools to lead with confidence in any situation.

Orientation: Wednesday, August 27

3:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Program Kickoff: Wednesday, September 3

Time Options

• 12:00 – 1:15 pm or

• 3:45 – 5:00 pm

Location: CASE Building, Room E422. Note this is an in-person class - there is not an option to participate in these classes remotely.

Registration Closes: Friday, August 8

This program is built on discipline and commitment. Full attendance and active engagement are expected for all 12 sessions. If you must miss a session, please notify the program manager in advance. This course only works if you're all in—show up, speak up, and be ready to grow with your cohort.

We’re excited to share that Infrastructure & Resilience has partnered with Aims Community College to bring a no-cost GED Preparation Program to CU Boulder staff!

This initiative is part of the Infrastructure & Resilience Opportunity for Change Committee (IROCC)’s ongoing commitment to supporting staff development and educational access. Learn more about IROCC’s work here: colorado.edu/irocc

To learn more, we invite you to attend one of two informational sessions on Wednesday, July 23 in the Koelbel Building, Room 320-CC:

Morning Session: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Afternoon Session: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM

During these sessions, you’ll get details about:

Personalized GED preparation support from instructors and a dedicated program coordinator
Flexible options, including a GED Express track for those with deadlines
Program availability in English and Spanish
Streamlined access to student support services
Fall 2025 enrollment opportunities for interested staff

Get Ready for the 3rd Annual CU Employee Softball Tournament!

We’re excited to announce the return of the CU Employee Softball Tournament, now in its third year—and with some exciting updates! Whether you're a seasoned player or just looking for some summer fun, we’d love to have you join us.

Tournament Details:

Dates: July 30 & 31
Time: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Stazio Fields, Boulder
Eligibility: CU employees only (no students, student employees, or non-CU family members)

New This Year – Two Tournament Tiers!
To better match skill levels and ensure a fun experience for all, we’re introducing two tiers:

Ralphie Tier: For experienced players and regular league teams
Chip Tier: For casual teams who play once or twice a year

How to Get Involved:

Team Captains: Interested in leading a team?
Individual Players: Want to play but don’t have a team?
Volunteer Umpires Needed: We need at least two umpires (plus backups). If you or someone you know can help, please let Courtney know.

On Tuesday, Aug. 12, staff from Infrastructure and Resilience (I&R), Finance and Business Services (FBS) and the Division of Public Safety (DPS) are invited (and encouraged) to come together and dedicate a few hours of service back to our campus community. Our goal for the day is to engage with and give back to our campus. All registrants will receive lunch and a CU Boulder branded trucker hat.

Please consider joining us for a fun day of volunteering. Registration closes at 5pm on Thursday, August 7 so sign up today. After you register, details about where to go and what to bring for your job will be emailed to you on Friday, August 8.

Parking on Campus?

Here is how Parking has agreed to handle FacMan vehicles on sidewalks:

Vehicles that need to load/unload on the sidewalk will need to have their flashers on and will need to relocate to a service space when they are done.
Do not block ADA access, Fire Lanes, around blind corners, or other pathways.
We will treat the sidewalk where they are parked as a 15-minute loading zone.
Enforcement will follow the normal chalking and ticketing procedure when they find these vehicles.
Drivers do not need to contact Customer Service for their 15 minute load/unload.
If you do receive a ticket while following the procedures above, please contact Parking at 303-735-PARK (7275) or Parking@colorado.edu and ask them to review your case.
This only applies to CU FacMan logo'd vehicles. Contractors need to continue to get sidewalk access approval through their FacMan project manager who will then coordinate with Kate in Parking.
