How to save a satellite: Student team races the clock to study a hazardous region of space
Over several white-knuckle months, an operations team at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) brought a small satellite back from the dead鈥攋ust in time to explore a region of space known as Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO).
