CU Boulder offers guided tours and self-paced walking directions, ideal for seeing any of CMDI’s numerous buildings across campus. The college also offers tours, led by our student ambassadors, where you’re encouraged to ask questions while taking in stunning views of the nearby Flatirons and enjoying our incredible weather.

And no visit is complete without a stop in downtown Boulder. Check out the shopping, dining and nightlife on Pearl Street, hit the trails at nearby Chautauqua Park or find a cozy coffee shop on the Hill and watch the hustle and bustle of our hometown.Ìý

How to visit CMDI

A visit to CU Boulder and CMDI offers you the chance to meet peers, faculty members and staff while developing an appreciation for what's so special about becoming part of our herd—from football games at Folsom, to clubs that ignite your creativity, to the stunning scenery that comes from being situated in such an idyllic location.

CU Boulder’s Office of Admissions hosts campus visits throughout the year that will show you what makes our home so special. Many of these programs offer CMDI informational sessions or tours that you can attend as part of your visit Additionally, this is where you sign up for general campus tours, which are highly recommended for both prospective Buffs and their families.
